Further your piano skills!

Hi, I’m Vivian. I am an experienced, friendly and skilled piano teacher who is based in Auckland, New Zealand. I help dedicated learners to learn piano to fill their cup and enjoy making music.

I empower students to:

  • Step through graded ABRSM or Trinity examd and feel a sense of accomplishment and pride after each completion
  • Hone into their innate musical capabilities by exploring advanced repertoire
  • Have fun while exploring different styles of piano (Mozart, Bach, Chopin, Contemporaries, Popular musics)

I am a classically trained pianist with a University of Auckland major and have been teaching privately, successfully for over 10 years. I believe piano and music is very fun, I am also a continuous music learner and play via recitals, ensembles and within the choir.

Get in touch and let’s make some magic happen.

Meet Our Student - Loreen

Meet Loreen—a dedicated healthcare worker and busy mom of three. For years, she dreamed of playing the piano, but life always seemed to get in the way.

Sound familiar? Many adults believe it’s too late to start learning something new—that they’re not musical, not talented enough, or just too busy.

But when Loreen finally took the leap and started lessons, everything changed. In just a short time, she was confidently playing with both hands, enjoying classics like Fur Elise, Ode to Joy and Jingle Bells. Her only regret? Not starting sooner.

You don’t need a flexible schedule or prior experience to begin your own journey. Our online piano course is designed specifically for adults like you—people with full lives, big dreams, and the drive to learn. Start today with a free 20-minute video lesson—no pressure, no commitment. Just a chance to finally play the music you’ve always loved.

Your piano story can start right now. All you have to do is press play.

What our students say

Lovely and positive teacher. Uses encouragement to increase the confidence of my kids. My children now proactively practice the piano. Thank you Vivian. Definitely recommend.

Anny Tan

Vivian has been a great teacher and I have enjoyed learning piano. It is fun and engaging.

Randy Joseph

I’ve recently joined Vivian’s classes and it’s been great. I always thought I wasn’t musical however I am liking where this is going. We do a mixture of classical and contemporary stuff (from Mozart to The Beatles). It has been really fun and rewarding.

Annette Driver

Vivian has taught me for several years now and looking back I see the progression I have made, each week is tailored for me and I think it fits my learning style. She is a good teacher.
