Hi, I’m Vivian. I am an experienced, friendly and skilled piano teacher who is based in Auckland, New Zealand. I empower music lovers to:
- Be able to play your favorite pieces! Think Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata, Hey Jude by the Beatles. Any composer's works is possible when your basics are set.
- Perform at your school's talent quest and our end of year Piano Concert! Getting on stage is a fantastic character exercise for ALL levels.
- Ignite your soul through a new hobby because no time is better than now. Achieve bonus mental health points because you're doing a new song that you know
- Prove family and friends wrong when they said you aren't musical or musical enough! Everyone has a mini Mozart inside of them that is just waiting to be let out.
I am a classically trained pianist from the University of Auckland and have been teaching successfully for over 10 years. My students have achieved great success by grades, recitals or casually learning at their own individual pace. I believe piano and music learning should be fun. Gone are the days where people experience traumatic events from their strict piano teacher.. believe me, I have heard the stories! Productive learning can be achieved when it is aligned with the individual’s goals and their learning style and pace. It isn’t a one-size-fits-all approach.
